ABOUT BACKSTAGE RESET
Six disciplines. One system.
Backstage Reset was created by Sabrina McNeill.
The idea came from a straightforward observation: the same rigour that touring productions apply to every technical element of a show — the rig, the PA, the stage plot, the advance — is rarely applied to the people making it happen. Not because those people don't matter. But because nobody had built the system.
Sabrina has spent fifteen years working in talent attraction, retention, and employer branding — building the frameworks that help organisations create environments where people perform at their best and want to stay. She is also a qualified yoga teacher and yoga and Ayurveda therapist, a trauma-informed practitioner, a qualified herbalist, and holds a qualification in interior design. In Backstage Reset, these are not separate disciplines. They become a single integrated system: grounded in evidence, practical for the road, and designed for the specific demands of professional touring.
Backstage Reset has been developed in close collaboration with live touring professionals — production managers, tour managers, and crew with decades of experience on the road. Every element of the Method has been tested against the realities of touring life, not just developed in theory.

Why touring, specifically.
Live touring is one of the most demanding working environments in the world. The schedules are relentless, the conditions are variable, and the expectation to perform — at the highest level, every night, regardless of what the day has been — is absolute.
It is also an industry built on craft, dedication, and people who care deeply about the quality of the work. What it has lacked is a systematic approach to the conditions that allow that craft to be sustained across a full touring run.
Not because the people in it don't care about each other. But because nobody had built the system. That is what Backstage Reset is.
